I knew Merilyn ever since elementary school, I believe.  She was always smart and so very sweet.  I am so sorry to hear of her passing.  She did much good for others in her lifetime.

Merilyn and her family were my next-door neighbors growing up. We were best buddies growing up but we kind of lost touch after GHS. We rediscovered how to contact each other through this website. We had discussed getting  together since her daughters were in Charlotte (where I am) and my daughter was near Greensboro (where she was). Unfortunately, we never got together...

So sorry to hear about  this...
