Obituary of Karen Slack Zeliff

Karen Slack Zeliff, age 65 passed away on Tuesday February 14, 2017 at Beacon Place. There will be a funeral Service held 2:00pm at the Westminster Gardens Mausoleum Chapel on Friday February 17th. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the Mausoleum Chapel.

Karen was born in Louisville, KY on July 21, 1951 to William Harold Slack and Edith Frogge Slack. Karen was a member of Christ Life Fellowship where she served as an elder and a mentor to the church body. Karen achieved a Master's of Library Science and was employed as an administrator at Cone Health.

She is survived by her mother Edith Frogge Slack, her three sisters Glenda Slack Leonard (Stephan), Deigh Slack Deaton (Rod), Diane Slack Carter, her two daughters Cynthia Dawn Zeliff, Karyh Zeliff Maturino (Jorge) and three grandchildren Benjamin Joseph Maturino, Jade Araceli Maturino and Christian Michael Maturino and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is her father William "Bill" Harold Slack.
