OBITUARY

Betty Bateman McCain, 71, died Saturday, January 23,2021. She was born in Greensboro, NC to the late Robert Maurice and Kathryn Sheffield Bateman. Betty graduated from Grimsley High School.

She worked many years at Southern Guarantee Insurance, Co. until her retirement in 2006. Betty was a member of First Baptist Church in Greensboro NC.

Betty is survived by her husband, Jeff B. McCain of Greensboro; son, Gary Phillip and wife Billie Collie Ingold of Waxhaw, NC; stepson, Steve L. and wife Thailin McCain of Reidsville, NC. In addition, Betty is survived by a sister, Kathryn B. and husband Travis Twiford of Norfolk, VA; niece, Karen T. and husband Jason Singletary of Apex, NC; Kimberly T. and husband Chris Kootnz of Clemmons, NC.

A Memorial Service is planned for the Spring time to celebrate Betty’s life.
