GREENSBORO — One of God's special angels by the name of Marvin Lee Anderson, son of the late Francina and William Anderson Sr. was delightfully lifted from this earth January 15, 2010 at his home with his wife Betty at his side.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday January 22, 2009 at Fruit of The Spirit Holiness Church. Burial to follow at Piedmont Cemetery.
Marvin was a native of Greensboro, graduated from Grimsley High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Leaving to cherish memories of his life are his wife Betty Anderson of the home, stepfather Phillip O' Neal of Greensboro, N.C. three daughters; Chicar Anderson-Carter (Alfonso) of Buffalo, N.Y., Tanita Winchester of Charlotte, N.C., Delsheena Anderson of Greensboro, N.C., two sons; Lamont Winchester (Devon) of Greensboro, N.C., and Steven Winchester of Reidsville, N.C., six sisters; Doreen Anderson, Carolyn McCorkle, Linda Anderson, Angela Evans all of Greensboro, N.C., Marlene Anderson and Jeanise Anderson of Philadelphia, PA., two brothers; twin, Melvin Anderson (Sherri) and William Anderson Jr. of Greensboro, N.C.
The Anderson Family will receive family and friends at 1:30 p.m. at the church and at other times at the home, 604 A Banner Ave.
Hinnant Funeral Service is assisting the Anderson Family.
