Obituary

GREENSBORO – Angela Denise “Neesie” Haith, 60, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021.

She was born in Chatham County, NC on March 2, 1960 to John T. Haith and Donnie L. Godfrey Dalton.

Denise was educated in the Guilford County Schools System and graduated from Grimsley High School, class of 1978.

For several years, she worked at Chopper's Bar N Lounge.

She was a lover of tennis and football and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Haith; brother, Joel Haith and a special friend, Raymond Cheek who both recently passed away in 2020.

Survivors include children, Jonathan Haith and Renee Haith; father of her children, Robert Attaway; sister, Loretta Grandy; brother, Kenneth Haith; 7 grandchildren, Denisha Martin, Nicholas Martin, Rashad Martin, Jasmine Haith, Jayla Haith, N’ileyah and N’miere Mumford; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.

Public viewing will begin on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC.  Reverend Dr. William F. Pegues, pastor of Reid Memorial CME Church will deliver the words of comfort.

Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Proximity Mills Cemetery, 2009 Phillips Avenue, Greensboro, NC.
