Janet Carole Scott Sumner, 50, of Greensboro, NC passed away Saturday October 22, 2016 at her home. 
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel on West Friendly Avenue.
Janet was born on March 24, 1966 in British Columbia, Canada to the late John Irvin Scott and Donna Wyrick Scott. She was also preceded in death by both her grandmothers, Lillian Harris and Elva Scott; and god-parents, Otis and Kathy Brammer.
She is survived by her son, John Scott Sumner of Greensboro, and brother, Barry Scott of Harleysville, PA.
Janet was a manager at LabCorp where she was employed for over 10 years. She loved bowling, tennis, fishing and going to concerts, especially Bon Jovi.
