Andrea Teague

Andrea died in 2001, a number of years after surviving a stroke related to some undiagnosed hereditary problem.

Laura Howard Dash said, "I know a few things that were important to her (Andrea).

  1. Music. She had a fantastic, almost operatic voice. I think she got that from her mom. She used to sing in the choir at Guilford Park Presbyterian Church, where we both grew up.
  2. The above church. She loved everything about that place.
  3. She loved, and I mean loved, animals. Before the stroke she worked for a veterinarian in Greensboro. She had talked about being a vet herself at times.
  4. She never married, but her family was a big deal to her. She lived with her dad after her parents split, while her little sister lived with her mom."
