Kim Mathews Bauer

I live in Charleston, SC with my husband Drew and our two boys Matthew age 5 and Patrick age 3. I graduated from UNC-G in 1993 and again in 2002. Drew and I married in 1997 and our first child was born 2003.

My first job out of college was in banking with Wachovia. When I went back to school, I went into marketing. I worked as a marketing product manager for several years with Gilbarco and loved it. The one draw back was I was travelling a lot and working crazy hours. When our first son was born, I no longer wanted to be on the road. I went back into banking which is much more working mother friendly. I work for Bank of America in the commercial real estate group.

Job transfers bounced us around between Florida and SC betweeen 2004-2006. Our last transfer landed us in Charleston, SC. We have been here for about 3 years now and love it.
