Moved to Petaluma on 9/11/01 to be near daughter and her family.
Currently still making and selling my handcrafted jewelry and toys at farmer's markets, and festivals, and online thru my etsy shop..

Some of you know that my grandson, CJ, lost his war with leukemia on July 15, 2014 at age 13 after a 2 1/2 year war. He won many battles and actually won the war against leukemia after 3 bone marrow transplants, but the treatments took a terrible toll on his body. His courage and spirit were an inspiration to so many people, literally across the world. The motto given to him was "CJ Strong", and it is now used by many, many people when we need a reminder to be strong in the face of adversity. It was especially heartwarming for me to receive my classmates words of comfort on my facebook page and on his (I'm talking to YOU Lorinda Foushee Plapp). What a cheerleader you were. It brought me great comfort. Feelings are still raw. I miss him terribly. Can only trust that healing will begin.
