Johnny was one of my best friends in high school. He welcomed me into his Lindley group when I moved into that neighborhood from Kiser. He was so sweet and cute and funny. We went to lots of the same parties and he was always smiling. I miss him!
I remember Johnny first from Lindley Junior. Of course, I , along with many others, cannot ever hear the song "Johnny Angel" without thinking of him. He was an easy guy to envy for his charm and good looks, and now he had a song in his name ! More to envy...and I did. At the last reunion I saw him (I think number 45), "his" song was played....and he had to be coaxed to the dance floor... A wonderful guy...
