Clayton and I were good friends at Kiser Jr. High.  I remember when she dyed her hair and it came out orange.  Her mother had to take her to the beauty shop to get it toned down. Teenage girls!  After her family moved to Charlotte, she used to take the bus to Greensboro on weekends, and she stayed with my family.  The last time I saw her was at the beginning of my freshman year at Queens, and I ran into her at a drugstore.  She was getting ready to go to High Point College.  50 years, and now she's gone.   Nancy Pinson Goldstein

Clayton and I grew up on the same street, Catalina Drive, in the Friendly Homes neighborhood. It was a great place to grow up and there were soooo many kids-a lot are members of our class of 1965.

Growing up, Clayton was my back-door neighbor. (Like Marty said, our neighborhood was crawling with kids!) It was so nice to see her at the 40th reunion. I was saddened to hear of her passing.
