Sammy was one of the sweetest boys i knew in high school. I went to Kiser but moved into the Lindley district in 9th grade. Sammy was funny, cute and friendly and welcomed me into his social group. I am so sorry he is gone.

Sammy was a super nice guy. We were friends before Grimsley. I didn't live too far from himand we went to the same junior high (Lindley). I remember going camping with him, Skipper Garner and a few others in April one year when were were teens. It was in the mountains or foothills, someplace not too terribly far from Greensboro, but definitely in the woods somewhere. We were caught off guard when we woke up the next morning and it had snowed! I think we may have been in the same scout troop, but can't remember for sure. A good friend for sure...
