I attended a first-rate production of The Music Man at Tulane last night, and it brought back so many great memories of being in the band at Grimsley. That's where I connected with David, especially sophomore year when we were in marching band. We loved all the intricate moves we had to learn for halftime shows. I kept up with him during freshman year of college, and we exchanged letters that year. I lost touch with him after that, and always wondered if he realized his dream of composing music. Reading the obituary made me proud and happy for him. What a great life he led. RIP
Freddy Weinberg (Weinberg)
A full, but shortened, life led.
