Like everybody, I hate getting these announcements, but this one hit me a little close to home. Grew up in the same neighborhood so to speak with Jimmy. He lived in what we used to call the "Park." A really nice big brick house. I lived 2 blocks away in a small stone house. Jimmy never cared. He was always cordial, and a very good guy.

I hope Sally is OK, because they were in my opinion "The Couple" at GHS.

Yes, this one hits hard.  Jimmy and Sally started dating in junior high!  Such a long and faithful courtship and marriage. My heart goes out to Sally and their children, and I wish that I didn't live on the other side of the country right now.

I'm sending love and hugs, Sally.

This is a great and jolting loss. Jimmy was a good friend. We played in the band together and served in student government. Sally and I were in elementary, junior High, and high school together. I remember them both well and, like others, have received this news with grief that is mixed with fond memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you,Sally .

Like everyone else, I can't think of one without the other-- it was always, it seems, "Sally & Jimmy." A great loss for our Kiser and GHS family. Thoughts and prayers are with you, Sally, and all the family.

I feel the same way as Bruce. Sally, I'm sorry for your loss, but y'all shared so many memories and a magical lifetime together. Jimmy and I participated in a variety of activities together growing up. Both of you made the world a better place. Peace.

Arthur Davis
