SUMMERFIELD RONALD DEAN POOLE, 68, DIED IN THE evening hours at Cone Hospital on Monday, August 24, 2015.Ronnie was born to the late Maurice Fels Poole and Jewel Deane Homer Poole, in Greensboro, NC.His wife and high school love, Lynda Masten Poole, survive him, as well as his devoted sons, Brandon Dean Poole (Whitney) and Zachary Masten Poole. His precious granddaughter, Chloe Alana Poole also survives him. He has one brother Maurice Fels Poole III, and his sister Linda Poole Medlin.Ronnie leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and many, many friends. His family pets will miss him terribly as well; Tia and Suzie Q loved Ronnie very much.The Masten Family loved Ronnie like he was one of their own. He was very special to many people and his favorite cousin, Keith and his wife Suzanne were very special to him.Ronnie graduated from Guilford High School and proudly served his country in Vietnam. He worked in the family business, Greensboro Fabric Converters, then later joined his friend, Webb Cooper at Southern Sprinkler and Poole Contracting Co.Ronnie loved water, sun and fun.
