23, born June 29, 1984, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Moses Cone Hospital. Family and friends gathered for prayer at 12:34 p.m., his favorite time of day.

Family and friends celebrated Adam's life at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, at Christ United Methodist Church, 410 N. Holden Road.

Adam was a true Kansan before he was a Tarheel, and he was baptized on June 16, 1985, in Ellinwood, Kansas, and was confirmed on April 18, 1999, at Christ United Methodist Church in Greensboro. Adam graduated from Northwest High School in June of 2003, and then pursued his education at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology on May 13, 2007. Adam was such a kind and spirited soul. Anyone who had the opportunity to meet Adam was influenced by his love of music, philosophy, sports, family, and friends. He had the uncanny capacity to connect with others and give off a unique positive energy. Everyone was left a better person for having known Adam, and Adam's love for them, for all people, for life, for God, family and friends.
