Robert E. King, 74 years old, died on November 16, 2016 at Region One Healthcare. Born on February 3, 1942 in Greenville, Mississippi, Robert was one of two sons born to the late Alex and Mary Alice Baker King. He is a member of Germantown Presbyterian Church and was the Senior Vice President with First Tennessee Bank. The family will gather on Saturday, November 19 from ten o'clock in the morning until funeral services begin at noon all at Germantown Presbyterian Church, 2363 South Germantown Road, Germantown, TN 38138. Burial will follow that afternoon in Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Cotton Plant, Mississippi. Mr. King was also preceded in death by their son Steven King. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Catherine Warrington King; two sons Bryan King of Oxford, MS and Scott (Buffy) King of Germantown; and brother Dean (Beverly) King of McComb, Mississippi. In lieu of floral gifts, the family suggests financial contributions in Robert's honor be sent to The Missions Fund or the Memphis Athletic Association both through Germantown Presbyterian Church or the organization of your choice.
