After graduation from GHS, I went to Mississippi Delta Junior College for a year, then joined the US Marine Corps for three years. Was stationed in San Diego, California for two years and Iwakuni, Japan for a year.
When I was discharged in 1964, I settled in San Diego for seven years, went to work for Nabisco, got married, had two beautiiful little boys and went to night school for the next 11 years. I graduated from San Diego Evening College and San Diego State University. Then I was promoted to supervisor and transferred to Los Angeles. There I continued my night school and got an MBA degree from Callifornia State University. After four years in Los Angeles, I was promoted to Branch Manager over Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
After four years doing that, I was promoted to Director of National Training, and transferred to East Hanover, New Jersey. There I met my second wife in Church (my angel) and inherited two beautiful little girls and a black laborador retriever.
After 33.5 years with Nabisco, I went to work as Vice President for Porter Henry & Company (a training company in New York City.
After three years with Porter Henry & Company, I went to work as Director of Global Training and Development for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals Company and transferred to Pennsylvania. I traveled to 40 coutries in five years and trained more than 3,000 people in a dozen different languages.
All this time, I am an adjunct professor at several colleges including the University of California at Los Angeles, California State University, Philadelphia University and most recently at DeSales University's MBA Program. I love teaching.
I was a licensed Pennsylvania Real Estate Agent working for Keller Williams Real Estate Company (the third largest Real Estate Company in North America).
I now do volunteer work for the Episcopal Church and I'm a licensed Lay Eucharistic Minister, volunteer at the hospital where I spent some time 8 years ago after I had a Suddent Cardiac Arrest.
I'm a little bit disappointed that we're not going to have a 60th reunion.
The best is yet to come.
I'll never forget my 9th grade Algebra Teacher, Ann Smith. Do you remember her?
She told me one time, "Bob, I'm ashamed of you. You could be exempt from every test, but you're just frittering away your time." From that day on, I was exempt from every math test. And I graduated with distinction from San Diego State University and got a 3.87 GPA when studying for my Master's of Business Administration and a perfect 4.00 GPA when attending the Fielding Graduate university studying for my doctorate. Thank you, Miss Smith, wherever you are.

Hey, Jim: How are you and your family doing? I'll never forget: One day at one of our last reunions, I found myself carless, And you offered to drive me around. I accepted. too. And, it turned out that it was one of the best days of the reunion for me. Remember? Anyway, are we going to have any more reunions? I hope so.
Thanks again & again, Jim

Hi, Patrick: A Healthy & Happy birthday to you today. I see your friend Larry Hancock also had a long and prosperous career with Nabisco too. Do you still see him? I think that was the job I recommended you for with Darby. Is that right? How are those Hornets doing?
