He is survived by: his children, James Floyd, Jr. (Mona) of Delray Beach, FL, Wendy Cormier (Kevin) of Orange, TX, Jeff Floyd of Tampa, FL and Eric Floyd (Candice) of Tampa; his sister Jeannie Scherer (Jerry); his grandchildren, Brandon Nicholson (Jane), James Floyd, III and Martha Mayson Floyd; and his great grandchild Dixie Drew Nicholson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mortimer Funeral Home (711 US-82, Greenville, MS 38701). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
