Susan died Feb. 21, 2005 of a heart attack.  She made her home in Clinton MS for more than 40 years.  At the time of her death, she was employed at River Oaks, Jackson.  Susan was a member of United Methodist Church in Clinton.

She loved gardening, bird watching and traveling.  She was also an enthusiastic fan of all sports, but her favorite was Chicago Cubs baseball team. 

She is survived by her husband, Claude Cook, her mother Elizabeth Dykes of Raymond and two daughters, Emily and Erin and two grandsons.
