OK Doris,It is very difficult to accept that your years were so few. Remember the time when we were at Bass JHS and you invited me to an old bank building that your father was using to start a new church. That old bank vault looked dark and the walls and door looked thick. I now regret not allowing you to get me inside the vault and have the other people there close the door as you requested. Just think what might have happened. That could have been good memories.
Always a friend,

Doris loved music and took after her mother in learning to play piano by ear. She sang in the Northside choir and as a member of the GHS Choir. We were in church youth group together and we had such fun. Her Father was pastor and she was a typical pastor's daughter.I remember riding with her and her boyfriend to visit a college, TN Temple, our senior year. We met Dr. Charles Weigle and we were both awe struck. He wrote "No one ever cared for Me Like Jesus." Old and feeble in body and sharp in mind.
