Gary Dixon Terry, Sr., 64, was born on June28, 1946 to Henry Lewis and Gwendolyn Schilling Terry in Greenville, Miss., and died on March 15, 2011 in Little Rock, Ark.

   Mr. Terry was the Human Resource Manager for the Central Arkansas Transit System and had served in the United States Air Force. He attended St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Little Rock.

  He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ronnie Terry; and a nephew Lewis Terry.

  Mr Terry is survived by his wife, Kaye Maples Terry; four sons, Gary Dixon Terry, Jr. and wife Tracey of St. Louis, MO, Douglas Trey Terry and wife Daphne of Little Rock, Dr. Julian "Tony" Terry and wife Heather of Little Rock, Matthew Graham Terry and wife Katie of St. Augustine, FL; nine grandchildren; a brother Decker Terry and wife Martha of Montgomery, AL; a nephew Ronald Terry and wife Peggy of AL; and other relatives and many friends.

  The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Morgan Sauer and the staff of Hospice Home Care Inpatient Unit and to Georgia Scott for the loving care as personal caregiver.

  A memorial Service was held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Little Rock on Friday, March 18, 2011.

  In lieu of flowers the family request charitable donations to the following: Preston Robert and Trisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University or the Winthrop P. Rockerfeller Cancer Institute in Little Rock, AR.
