Some of you may not remember me. I taught math (algebra,geometry) and coached tennis at GHS 1961-65. Moved to Marietta, GA in 1966 and been here in the northwest suburb of Atlanta ever since. Retired from the Cobb Co. schools as an elementary principal. Did that for 20 years after teaching math and being a school counselor. For a few years after retiring from education, I did some home remodeling for 5-6 years. Since then it has been traveling, tennis, grandfathering and just being lazy. Tennis is limited lately - getting too old I'm afraid.
Thanks to Jim Schepens for giving me info and encouraging me to get on this website. Haven't seen Jim lately but did keep up with him for a number of years. I also have kept in touch with George Biddle. It has been many years since I have been in G'ville, but I have the fondest memories of my years there. There is nothing quite like your first teaching experience. Those of you that teach know that. I think the enjoyment and happiness I experienced there was probably the best of any other period in my life. Thank you for that. The class of '64 was a big part of that.
