Susan Hughes (McCarty)

Remember, Kenny - I am a musician, too! So don't take it personally that I mentioned a football game. I just happened to have married a football player. I also am one of those people who loves music with all my heart, and I love football and basketball!

The joke around our house is that I can still play my music, but I doubt if Jim could get in a football stance!

Jobana Gaye Larson (Frey)

Susan: Lynn, Cathy Leach(Reynolds)and I would have dance recitals for the younger kids in the neighborhood. We wore our old costumes and made a stage out of the carport and bed sheets. All of our parents worked until five and we entertained ourselves that way. Cheap fun. I am sure we bossed the younger ones around. I have been told by one of the participants, who now owns the Country Gentleman in Greenville, how it is a big childhood memory of hers.

EXCUSE ME..
Susan, Marilyn,Chad and all,
Two Rivers without us? We are 'bruised'! I will assume it is because we are out of town:)

Susan/Marilyn..The minute y'all mentioned those songs(Wildwood Flower and Green Onions),Joe breaks out into song..HE remembers them all. I am having bad brain lapses.
Joe and I are sitting out on the patio at the beach drinking madrases(?).Remember those?? We are watching the drizzle. Thought we had several 'Gator' sightings, we realized ,alas, we were wrong..
Gatorman..Where were you..We waved at all the fancy buses like idiots!!

George..No wonder you have been AOL..What a list..We have only been halfway through and have to break..Whewwww(only because Joe has to sing the first 3-4 lines of each!!

Randy,
Did you feel the breeze as we blew past your house..You've been 'skunked':):)
Although I must admit I am still drawn to the sideburns..WOOHOOOOOO!

Jobana..I have definitely become my mother.. under the umbrella, book, hat 30.. spf.. We did do alot of baby oil and iodine in our youth, huh? I am trying to wait until you catch up with me..Wish I had had that good oily skin you complained about!!

BTW, Joe and I think the site should remain after the reunion. It is such a nice way to reconnect!

Susan,
Thank you for the acknowledgement of my typing prowess! There has been many unkind and snide remarks by my fellow SJS alumni and now former friends about my not winning the typing award. The 1969 SJS Shield(our annual),lists all award recipients. Would all of you doubters and naysayers please look this important fact up so that I will be able to sleep at night.
Kenny,
I've seen that video and my favorite is the guy in the African village.
