Lived down the road from Wayne. He always had the best toys to play with. He had a rope and pulley attached between two trees. We spent hours trying to out do each other. He was a cool kid back then. Kind of quite and didn't get into any trouble. We kind of split as good friends later during High School but that was OK. He had his direction and I had mine. We were still friends anyway. Those times are just a memory now. Still brings back a laugh or two of his big tail on the rope pulley winging down the slope hanging on for dear life. But we all hung on for dear life in those days because, unlike today, we did things back then that would be considered today as quite riskey to life and health. Didn't hurt us a bit.
Wayne and I were in elementary together. Wayne let me cheat off his paper to help me pass. Little did I know we would both fail the test word for word! I think the teacher caught on...I will miss you my childhood buddy! sorry for late reply,I didn't know... Dennis Day

I miss him from those days.
