I knew Jackie since Carrie Stern Elementry. Like most of us, we all went through school together, with him. He was such a smart guy in highschool. I knew then, whatever profession he chose in life, he would be great at it. From the posts I read on Caring Bridge, he was a wonderful, respected Doctor in Tupelo and a loving Husband and Father. I feel honored to have known him. He will be missed by many.

Jack and I were childhood playmates. We also attended the same church. Jack taught me how to ride his itsby, bitsy red bicycle with no training wheels on the tennis courts at Strange Park. Jack and I also won a twist contest on those same tennis courts when we were about 12 or 13 years old. Lots of the girls in our class wanted to spend the night with me in elementary school (especially Daryl King) with the hope of chasing Jack around the park, catching him and planting a big ole smooch on him. I would always help in the pursuit but never with the smooching even though I had a secret crush on him! :) Jack and I remained close friends through Carrie Stern, E.E. Bass Jr. High and Greenville High School. But, as with most of us, once we went off to college, we lost contact with one another. I will always have fond memories of Jack and have the utmost respect for him as a very dedicated Christian, family man and doctor.
