Doris was one of the sweetest girls I have every known. She and Jimmy Barnett made such a cute couple in high school. She was a majorette in the band. Her sister Cheryl and I were basketball cheerleaders toghether. I followed her illness and I was very sad when I learned that she had died. She is missed.
I first met Doris in elementary school (Carrie Stern). She was so sweet, loving and generous. The last time I saw her was when she was in the hospital, nothing had changed. She was still sweet, loving and had a smile of beauty that comes from the heart.
