Kenny Wells was one of the good guys. He was fun to be around and always had a smile on his face. I learned not long after we graduated that he died, but I'm not sure how. I will always remember him.

At Kenny's funeral, the minister stated that Kenny was "A Diamond In The Rough". We lost him way too soon. The following is one of Kenny's poems.
Candlelight flicker
Dancing left, then right
Sunlight glowing
Now dropping from sight.
A child's eyes showing
Love of life
Old eyes knowing
Pain and strife.
The world's mixed up
In the craziest way
I'm passing through
But I just can't stay.
The up and down motion of day-to-day
A drop of rain, a golden ray
Left foot, right foot - marching by
A smile, a laugh, a frown, a cry.
Alarm clock ringing
Time to begin
Eyelids closing
Near the end.
