Eddie and my husband, Sonny were very dear friends. I was privileged to know him for a short while after Sonny and I started dating. Sadly, Eddie died shortly after Sonny and I were married -- at the time Sonny was away for military training, so he did not get to see Eddie or spend time with him at the end. Eddie was a wonderful and caring person for whom I have very fond memories.
