Larry Paul O'Briant VIEW PROFILE

The following is taken from the 'In Memory' funeral bulletin sent to me by Larry's widow when I contacted him for our 45th class reunion...............

 

Larry Paul O'Briant passed away on August 29, 2008. Funeral services were Sunday, September 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Otts Funeral Home Chapel in Sulligent, AL. Burial was in Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ellis Wayne and Erma Fay Sterns O'Briant and one brother Dennis Wayne O'Briant. Mr. O'Briant was born on March 1, 1948 in Greenville, MS. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Amory. He was a graduate of Delta State University and did his internship in New Orleans, LA. Mr. O'Briant had previously worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Gilmore Memorial. He served as the Great Grand Duke of Hobo Historians and enjoyed traveling. Mr. O'Briant collected medical instruments and did pioneering in different towns. He was instrumental in raising 14 local area children.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte O'Briant of Amory, MS, two daughters, 6 grandchildren, two sisters and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
