Welcome to the BJA Class of 1979 Web Site
GUESS WHO IS TURNING 50?
WE ALL ARE!!!
...and we think it is something to celebrate!
At the 30th reunion, a group of us were discussing how wrong it would be to wait ANOTHER 10 years to get together. Right there the idea of a Class of '79 50th Birthday Bash was born.
Willie and Joanne Johnk graciously offered to hold it at their place, and we all jumped at the idea. It will be a family affair and will be held sometime in the middle of 2011.
We will have more details and a date in the near future.
Happy birthday to us, Happy Birthday to us....

ANNOUNCEMENTS
To all my long lost classmates. All of you made my life easier being so far away from my home while attending BJA and it didn't matter if we spoke, "dated" or were just in the same classroom together, you made an impact and I am forever grateful.
As I grew older, I realized that I was an observer first and acquaintance second. I had to feel comfortable around you and observe how you operated before I could approach you. Therefore, Most of you never knew you were being watched, laughed with or cried with, in some way or other your impact was positive and I will always love the 3 years I spent with you guys.
May God continue to bless you and keep you save in his loving arms.

Greetings from Ohio. We made it back home about 8pm this evening. . Thanks to those who worked to organize the event and to those who came. It was so good to catch up. Our bodies and faces have changed much, but the voices and personalities are so much the same. Our thanks also to the faculty and staff who shared our reunion with us. Val and I were glad we made the trip to Greenville. Grace and peace to all. Kelly and Valorie Clemens

I am sorry but I won't be able to attend the Reunion this year. My parent's 50th wedding anniversay is this weekend and I can't leave. I hope everyone has a blast and posts lots of pictures.

Hi everybody! I am sorry I was unable to attend the reunion. We had graduation here in the Orlando area yesterday also. It is very hard to be in two places at the same time. I trust you all had a great time and caught up on all the news.

Hey gang- I am sorry to report that I will not be able to make the big event, due to a family event that I must attend. So....please take LOTS of pictures, and maybe someone can make a video diary...that would be a blast to view! I really wish I could be there! Love you all! Barb Shaw Blume!

I'm sorry that I cannot come, but I had already committed to attend a conference in Philadelphia before our reunion dates were announced. I've enjoyed the web-site profiles, and I'm thankful for the many friendships.

Hey Guys,
I won't be able to make it. Between trips to Alabama and out west to Washington for those all important family birthdays - mom's 80 and my sister is 50 - I'm just not able to make it to SC. Take pictures and remember to share them!

I hope that everyone has a good time. I will not be able to attend because of a family conflict. Look forward to seeing pictures.
