Dr. McAllister has worked with the BJU Preachers Class since 1977, serving as assistant to the director for fourteen years and as director since 1991. He oversees the ministerial class, many practical ministry courses, student outreach ministries, and the church staff placement office. His teaching includes Church Planting, Biblical Church Leadership, Current Issues, Ministry Relationships, and the Christian Family Forum. He speaks at pastors’ meetings and churches around the country and has written several books. During his years at BJU, Dr. McAllister has been actively involved with churches as a church planter, pastor, and consultant. Dr. McAllister and his wife, Ellen, have four children.
