A. Chad Therrell, 37, of Florence, died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at his residence after an illness.

Mr. Therrell was born in Florence, S.C. a son of Mr. Allen Wayne Therrell and Ms. Linda F. Shealy. He graduated in 1989 from Eastside High in Taylors, S.C., worked at General Electric as a machinist and loved to fish and bowl.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Juanita Shealy; and maternal grandfather, George Shealy, whom he was very close to and was his fishing buddy.

Surviving are his mother of Florence; his father of Greenville, S.C.; brother, Nicholas Wayne Therrell of Greenville; and a sister, Windy (Scott) Levesque of Atlanta, Ga.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
