Survived By: The many friends he endeared to him, who remember him most fondly, and miss him terribly. We were his family. Also, his beloved dog Oliver.

Greg Traylor was an incredibly intelligent and sensitive person. He was a whole person with a sad past. But he was a whole person - overflowing, even. He was Keats. He was Baudelaire. His gifts were innumerable. He grew up in Greenville, and spent time working as a glassblower in Asheville, NC before moving to Portland, Oregon, his final home. He donated much of his free time to helping others: teaching free classes (he was an IT specialist), volunteering to care for animals and people in need. No amount of space exists that would hold the words to fully describe the kindness, generosity, beauty, and brilliance of this, ultimately lonely, soul. Suffice it to say that Greg's passing has left holes in so many lives that will, in time, be healed, but the spaces of which will forever hold our dearest memories of this irreplaceable friend.
