
GREENVILLE — Charles Lee Arrington, 68, of Greenville, died Saturday, Janruary 22nd at his residence. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Johnny Hailes officiating.
Mr. Arrington was born in Winnsboro, Texas on July 31, 1942. He was the son of Johnnie Merle Arrington and Leola Gore Arrington. On Oct. 1, 1982, he married Neva Nell Johnson in Greenville.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of Park Street Baptist Church. He was retired from Raytheon and former owner of Wallace Windshield in Greenville.
Survivors include his wife, Neva Arrington of Greenville; sons, Justin Arrington and wife, Cindy of Boise, Idaho, Bryant Wallace and wife, Saundra of Spring, Texas, Troy Wallace of Lake Charles, La. and Chad Wallace of Greenville; daughters, Jamie Swagerty and husband, Bubba of Terrell and Eva Green and husband, Barry of Greenville; daughter-in-law, Melody Arrington of Scurry; brother, Joe Arrington and wife, Rhonda of Alba; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father in 2004; mother in 2001; sister, Glenda Brockway in 1981; son, Ashley Arrington in 2009; and grandson, Daniel Wells in 1993.
