Charles (known as Tiger by some) was a good friend to me!  I even went on vacation with his whole family one summer.  We were bound for Florida, bot a devastating hurricane limited our progress to Florida.....we only made it to New Orleans!  It was a rather harrowing experience for us---as a couple of eighth graders!  In Lake Charles, La., we passed by a building that contained some 125 bodies in cold storange---people who perished in that area previously!  We really did have some fun in the Crescent City area...lots to see and do!  So it was with sadness that I read of Charles' passing! RIP, Charles!
