Darlon Drake       

March 26, 1940 - July 30, 2020

We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2020, at the age of 80, Darlon Drake of Point, Texas passed away. 

A celebration of life for Darlon Drake will be held Monday August the 3rd, 2020 at 10:00 am at Wilson Orwosky Funeral home of Emory. Visitation is One hour prior to service.  Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, TX.

Darlon Drake was born March 26, 1940 to Vernon Drake and Alyne Drake in Greenville, TX. He was married to Glenda Drake on July 03, 1960.  Mr. Drake worked as a jeweler for 50 years.  His hobbies included reading the bible and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda; children Darlena and Phillip Fields, David and Cindy Drake; Christina Bell and Brooks Bell.

Mr. Drake is also survived by his grandchildren, Andelyn Fields, Lydia Neuenschwander,

Darcy Fields, Wilson Fields, Kolton Drake, Brock Bell

He was preceded in death by his parents

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Vernon Drake and Alyne Drake; his wife Glenda Drake; his children, Darlena, Phillip Fields, David, Cindy Drake, Christina Bell and Brooks Bell; and his grandchildren, Andelyn Fields and Lydia Neuenschwander.
