Gail Green Thomas

Gail Thomas, 71, of Greenville passed away August 20, 2013 at her home. A graveside service will be held at Memoryland Memorial Park at 2:30 PM Saturday with Pastor Jared Vernoy officiating.  Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. 

Born January 7, 1942 in Commerce, Gail was the daughter of Charles William “C.W.” and Frances (Waddle) Green.  On June 25, 1960 in Greenville, she married Bob Thomas.  She retired as a secretary from Edward Jones and was a member of First Baptist Church. 

Her survivors include her husband of Greenville; son Steve Thomas and wife Cindy Milner-Thomas of Greenville; daughter Leann Thomas of Plano; grandson Seth Thomas and step grandson Hayden Dunlap. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Kris Crew, Al Estrada, David Ahl, Bret Gilbert, Pat Hannon, Gary Morris and Daryl Gober.  Honorary pallbearers will be Emily Grady, Laura Spencer, Linda Bolin, Janice Bohlman, Marsha Fincher, Mary Jean Hilton and Teya Green.
