After high school graduation I worked at the Greenville National Exchange Bank until August 1963. I married Anthony Mulkey in September 1961 and after he finished college we followed his teaching and coaching career to Marshall, Denison, DeKalb, Athens and Mesquite. I was a stay-at-home mom with our two sons David and Greg. In 1979 we moved to Caddo Mills where Anthony was the high school principal and I worked in the administration business office from which I retired in 2001. Anthony passed away in 2005 from colon cancer and I lost my best friend. Our sons have given us seven grandchildren ranging from ages 14 years old to two years old who keep me very busy. They love to come spend the night and they keep me going with all of their activities. Four grandchildren live in Caddo Mills and three live in Greenville. I am so richly blessed and thankful for good health and happiness. Life is good.
