Charles Edward Turner

Charles E. Turner, 61, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at a local care center.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday in Arlington Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Noon Monday in D/FW National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: Open on Friday at Arlington Funeral Home.

Charles E. Turner passed away due to heart complications. He was born in Gilmer and graduated from Greenville High School in 1960. Charles then attended a junior college before serving in the U.S. Navy for four years. He was in the retail home improvement business for most of his career.

Survivors: Wife, Margo Turner of Hot Springs, Ark.; son, Jimmy Turner of Nacogdoches; daughter, Cheryl Turner of Conroe; mother, Christine Turner of Arlington; brother, Gerald Turner and wife, Laurie, of Arlington; sister, Martha Smith of Houston; nephew, Eric Turner of Longview; six grandchildren; and many close friends.
