Karl was my best friend growing up from Elementary School to High School, as we were two short kids who had to stick together!💔 I remember stopping football after the 8th Grade because I was so small and I tried to convince Karl to stop. He decided to play another year and ended up with a broken jaw in 9th Grade from playing football. I remember him having his jaw wired shut and having to drink everything through a straw! I think he was one of the few people in Junior High to have his license and he had a Red & White Mercury Bobcat that we spent a lot of time in! His parents, Amos & Fayrene, were two of the nicest people I'd ever met and they welcomed me into their home on many occasions. In recent years since Karl retired, we'd been in more frequent contact and he was enjoying retirement and traveling. I will never have another friend like Karl Lowry and will miss him deeply until I meet him again.🙏<>>
