Kenneth's Story

Kenneth "Kenny" Parker Jr., 57, of Greenville, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 13, 2018. Memorial service was held on June 19th, at Vansickle Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Ratliff officiating.

Kenny was born in Odessa, Texas, on Feb. 12, 1961, to Mary Tapp and Kenneth Parker Sr. He married the love of his life, Michelle Isaacs Parker, on May 4, 1985, in Royse City, Texas. Kenny was the second generation owner of Ken Parker Service in Greenville, Texas. He never met a stranger and his friends often became more like family. He was as loyal as they come. He loved racing, hunting, fishing and raising his Texas Longhorns. Dreams Come True, his ranch in Cumby, Texas, was his favorite place to be. He also enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Isaacs Parker of Greenville; sons Matthew Parker of Greenville, Daniel Parker and wife Kayleigh of Caddo Mills and Michael Parker of Greenville; parents Kenneth Parker Sr. and Mary of Greenville; sister Debbie Anderton and husband Bobby of Greenville; grandchildren Madalyn and Bear Parker; mother-in-law Peggye Isaacs of Royse City; sister-in-law LeShea Geisler and husband Mark of Dallas; brother-in-law, Winston Isaacs of Royse City; and numerous nieces, nephews and countless close friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Parker and Mr. and Mrs. R.M. Tapp, and his father-in-law, Charles Houston Isaacs Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Robnett, Jim Bird, Brian Riskey, Gregg Elmore, Dewight Grider, Norman Kirkman, Marty Anderson, Bubba Nicholson, Don Gillentine and Brad Pryor.

Kenny was passionate about supporting special needs children in the local livestock organizations. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hunt County Fair, PO Box 1403, Greenville, Texas 75403, please memo checks "Special Needs Livestock." Published on June 15, 2018
