Mary Ruth Rhoden Walford, 57, passed away at her home in Dallas, Texas on Thursday, April 12, 2018.  She was born to the parentage of Walter and Mary E. Rhoden in Greenville, Texas on December 27, 1960.  She received her formal education in the Greenville Independent School District.  After high school graduation, she enrolled and attended East Texas State University (presently Texas A & M University) in Commerce, Texas.    She graduated from the university with two bachelor degrees, one in  Computer Science and the other one in General Business.  She worked as an accountant for various companies and organizations, including EMC, Accubank, Restland Funeral Home and Bank of America.  She met and married Curley G. Walford.  Mary was a devoted and faithful member of the church, singing in the church choir and eventually becoming the choir director.   
Loved ones left to cherish her memory:  husband, Curley G. Walford; a daughter, Lakeatha Rhoden; a son, Walter Walford, Jr.; three grandchildren, Kaleel, Keelan and Raymond; two brothers, Ricky and Bruce Rhoden; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held in Greenville, Texas at Mount Zion Baptist Church on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 1:00 PM.  Interment was in the Saint Paul Cemetery in Neylandville, Texas.
