Prayers needed
Posted Saturday, April 10, 2010 06:50 PM
Please pray for my son, Chris. He has been diagnosed with renal failure. Dialysis and a kidney transplant are in his future. He is 25 years old and he and his wife are expecting their first child in July.
Please pray for me also so that I am able to be a live donor.
Thank You and God Bless.

Kim,

I just now visited the site and saw your prayer request.  How is your son doing?  I will definitely pray for him, his family and you.  I am so sorry to hear that.  I hope all goes well.  All of you are in my prayers.

Thank You Karen.

Chris is doing good and he amazes me at how well he is adapting to this.  This disease has to be watched daily. It can change at any moment. He is seeing a Nephrologist at Dallas/Baylor and we have alot of confidence in him.

Thank You Johnny & Lesa.

We went back to the nephrologist last week.  Chris's kidney function has dropped another % in a month.  It is now 10%.  The dr is wanting him to go ahead and be set up with a transplant coordinator and start some of the pre-test.  I don't know when my testing will begin. We will get that info when we go back next mth.

Chris & Selah's first child is due anytime.  Hoping Chris can hang on until after this.

Please continue to pray for him.

Hey Kim,

This is the first time I have been on this part of the site and I will keep your son and his and your family in my prayers.  Please keep us posted when you can, I know that posting on a website is not your top priority, but when you have time, please keep us posted.

Love ya!

Donna & Carol,

Thank You for putting Chris on your prayer list. His latest labs have gone up 4 points. This is not good. Working on the paperwork with Baylor Regional Transplant institute. He has not been feeling well lately with nausea.

The good news is, he was able to be at his baby's birth.  This was so important to him. Kambri Lynn was born July 28. She is perfect.
