Paula Jo Sides

Funeral services for Paula Jo Sides, 42, of Rockwall were at 11 a.m. Saturday in Vansickle Baptist Church, with Rev. Larry Combs and Rev. Roger Ratliff officiating. Burial followed at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills.

She died Dec. 28, 2005, in Rowlett.

She was born in Anniston, Ala., to Troy Ellis Sides Sr. and Marie English. She was a registered nurse at Lake Pointe Medical Center.

Survivors are her parents, George and Marie English of Caddo Mills and Troy and Jean Sides of Anniston, Ala.; a daughter, Paige Johnson of Greenville; grandmother Gladys Ford of Oxford, Ala.; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Olivia Johnson of Greenville; a niece and nephew, Rachel and Aaron Raley of Greenville; special friend Stephen Williams of Rockwall; two adopted daughters, Andrea Brinlee and Christen Shearer of Dallas; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Troy “Ricky” Sides Jr.; grandmother, Lola Sides; and a best friend, Mark Brinlee.

Pallbearers were Mike and Justin English, Garrett LaFavers, Bryce Reed, Colin Falwell and Rick Johnson.

Rentfrow Funeral Home in Caddo Mills was in charge of arrangements.
