Marie Wolfe

Marie Leone Wolfe, 48, of Greenville passed away October 9, 2011 at Briarcliff Health Center.  Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville with Rev. Paul Gould and Rev. Gene Wisdom officiating.  Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville.
 
Born May 18, 1963 in Greenville, Marie was the daughter of Bobby Benton and Molly A. (Robertson) Wolfe.  She received her M.B.A. from Baylor University.  After graduating from college, she worked as a technical editor in the aircraft industry for fifteen years in Waco. She most recently worked in medical billing at McKesson in Greenville.  She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. 
 
Her survivors include her mother of Greenville; daughter Katherine Elizabeth Wolfe of Greenville; sister Mary W. Gannaway and her husband William S. Gannaway, Jr. of Greenville; and nieces and nephews Melissa Gannaway of Dallas, Michael Gannaway of Greenville, Scott Talley and wife, Samantha of Greenville, Melanie Gannaway of College Station, and Anna Satterwhite of Greenville.
 
She was preceded in death by her father; grandmother Maurine Robertson and grandparents Benton and Mary Sue Wolfe. 
 
Pallbearers will be Tom Hosey, James Milton, Joe Shipp, Corey Chitwood, David Jackson, and Bobby Higginbotham.  Honorary pallbearers will be Butch Jones, Cynthia Carter, Judy Higginbotham, Karren Chitwood, Patty Jenkins, Vicki Ward and Dr. Colin Koon.

The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Dr. Colin Koon and the staff at Sammons Cancer Center and Baylor Hospital. Also, they would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Briarcliff Health Care and to all the hospice nurses who lovingly cared for their loved one.
