In Memory

Hope Stocker (Newell)

Hope was married with two little boys and lived in Missouri. She had a routine surgery to remove her gall bladder and developed an infection. Unfortunately, she passed away a few days later. Please keep Hope and her family/friends in your thoughts and prayers and never take life for granted.

I knew Hope since "Brownies". We did our 5th grade science fair project together and rode the bus together. She was a beautiful person, we all need to remember it can happen at anytime to any of us. She is missed.

Hope was one of the first people I was friends with when I moved to Greenwood in the 5th grade. She was friendly and funny! I am saddened to learn of her death.

Hope was born the day after me - literally - in the same hospital. My mom and her parents grew up together - as did Hope and I until I moved. I thought of her every year on our birthdays and I still think of her on Jan. 28 and think about how old she should be. She was so sweet and special - God truly took an angel home.
