Nancy Jeannette Long McCain, age 65, died on Sunday April 13, 2014 at her Residence. She was born on February 14, 1949 to Ellis and Lodell (Lamkin) Long, Sr in Montgomery County. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and MDCC in Moorhead, MS. Was a former employee of Stanley's Department Store and Staplcotn in Greenwood, and was a homemaker the last 40 years. She was a member of the Irvin Memorial Presbyterian Church in Greenwood, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by a sister Lee Alla Andrews, and a brother Ellis Long, Jr.

 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday 04/16/2014 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 04/16/2014 2:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS with the Rev Higdon Herrington officiating. Burial will be at the Milligan Springs Cemetery in Webster County. Pallbearers will be Derrick Simpson, Charles McCoy, Orlando Toten, Vincent Chambley, Mike Hibner, and Danny Mixon. Honorary Pallbearers will be her Nephews, Dr Mike Boler, and employees of Greenwood Market Place.

 

She is survived by Husband, of 41 years, Charles McCain, Sr of Greenwood, MS. Son, Charles "Chuck" McCain, Jr and his wife Candi of Greenwood, MS, Daughter, Michelle Aldridge and her husband Wayne of Greenwood, MS, 3 Sisters, Sara Cox and her husband Billy of Greenwood, MS, Clara Bond of Greenwood, MS, and Jo McCluskey of Carrollton, MS, 3 Grandchildren, Roger Derrick Simpson Jr, Karle Elise Aldridge, and Ever-Loren Cathy McCain
