Steven M. Slaughter (1949 - 2015)

Steven M. Slaughter died August 10, 2015 in Mount Carmel West Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was 66 years of age.
Mr. Slaughter was born April 30, 1949 in Columbus, a son of Herman and Barbara Slaughter.
He was married February 3, 1969 to the former Freda Gay Stanley, who preceded him in death February 8, 1991.
A 1967 graduate of Pleasant View High School in Columbus, he was retired from the Upper Arlington School District in Upper Arlington, Ohio.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Slaughter was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Jr.
Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Michael (Barbara Jean) Howard and Dana Slaughter, both of Columbus, and four grandchildren: Freda, Michael, Kassandra and Emily. Also surviving are his brother, Bishop Rex (Patti) Slaughter of Brookville; three sisters: Mrs. Tom (Sandra) Kilkenny and Mrs. Robert (Kristina) Dingus, both of Silver Springs, Florida; and Kimberly Langhans of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
