If reserving at RESIDENCE INN-MARRIOT on Tierra Verde, you must identify yourself as BCHS Class of 1962 to get the special quoted rate:

Will not quote special rates w/o number of committed rooms, number of days, and guaranteed payment for all rooms by the Reunion Committee. Guest charge card required for security.

ALDEN, 800-237-2530/727-360-7081, recently became part of the Trade Winds group, which provided special pricing (below):

 

Alden will be part of the Trade Winds group after renovation is completed. In March 22, the new name will be Rum Fish, so we have two quotes: one for Rum Fish and the other for Island Grand.

Several restaurants are onsite. The quote is based on >20 rooms reserved and pre-paid by guest not less than 30 days prior to the event. Reunion committee would need to guarantee 90% of the reserved block, so we would need to underestimate and then add other if required.

Booking Agent is Adam (direct line 727-363-2272, cell# 727-201-6664). He has quoted a Sunday arrival but that can be altered.

PLAZA BEACH HOTEL 727,367-2791

Manager Sheldon initially stated that the facility was too small (40 rooms) to commit for any special rates or to handle groups. However, management called back on 11/28 and changed position, offering to discount the rooms from $300 per night to $150.00. Beach frontage, but no onsite restaurant. Offers registered guests one free beer or wine per day. No refunds after 60 days before reservation date. If rooms are canceled before 60 days, a one-day penalty per room is charged.

 

RESIDENCE INN–MARRIOT, TIERRA VERDE

Current posted room rate (as of 12/13/21) is $209-$239.

Not on the beach; full menu dining adjacent to Island Grill.

Offered special rate of $169 per room, with no minimum number of rooms or financial commitment.

Continental breakfast on the roof lounge. More complete breakfast buffet inside the dining room. Snacks and bar service in the evening on the roof top lounge.

Unable to convince management to allow unregistered guest to attend the continental breakfast for a fee. However, non guests are welcome to attend other roof-top activities.
